A $1.8 billion expansion program that could create thousands of jobs for the state of Florida has been proposed by the Seminole Tribe. In addition, proposed changes are being planned for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. One main feature will include a second hotel tower with more than 500 additional guest rooms. Other plans are being made to add a new Japanese restaurant and a new lobby bar. Plans are being made for the extensive remodeling for the Hard Rock Cafe. New banquet and meeting facilities are also included in these plans that are well under way. This will make an excellent place for the on business.
Five new retail stores along with a grab and go food and beverage place and a brand new coffee bar will also be added. The number of guest rooms will be increased from 800 to 1273 for the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Hotel. A variety of restaurants are planned to be added to the hotel that include Italian, Asian, desert bar, buffet bar, Swamp bar and nightclub. A new pool bar and a second swimming pool will be included in the renovations. The new hotel tower and the fine dining restaurants will make a major investment.
This major discussion is taking place between Seminole Tribe leaders and the Florida state Governor Rick Scott. The new renovations are being made possible by approval of the new gaming compact by the Florida Legislature. The agreement will be signed by the by Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman. All of this would lead to thousands of direct and indirect jobs for the state of Florida. These jobs will include full-time job, permanent jobs, and new construction jobs. This major renovation will definitely attract more vacationers or visitors to the area. These Changes Planned for Tampa Hard Rock Hotel were made public February 1, 2016.
